Deepki's technical team is organised into several product teams, all of which contribute to accelerate real estate’s environmental transition towards net zero and sustainability.

Your futures teams and the main technical challenges ahead
To replace the engineering manager on a maternity leave, we are looking for an engineering manager for a 5-month fixed-term contract to lead our teams from May 2025.
The OVERVIEW team generates the right indicators in order to assess the performance of assets and portfolio, and identify the outliers.
The BACKOFFICE team improves clients/Deepkies autonomy, ensure the streamline process for deepki platform implementation, and guarantee the scalability of our SaaS product by creating the tools to simplify and reduce the config. Backoffice team is also in charge of several transverse features related to user experience and KPIs computation.
Your role
As Engineering Manager, your role is to define the strategy for executing the roadmap. You're looking to get the best possible results from a group of people working together, by managing everything that can get in the way of value production.
When this doesn't work, it's because the job isn't being done properly.
To accomplish your fundamental task, you have to use several levers : Setting the frame / Delivering value / Growing Team & People / Technical mastery.
- Setting the frame : As an Engineering Manager, you combine clear and engaging communication with strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire your teams. You act as a strategic bridge, ensuring alignment between the company’s vision and team objectives. With a deep understanding of HR processes and internal policies, you uphold fairness and integrity within your teams, fostering a positive and cohesive work environment. Your ability to manage conflicts and solve problems enables you to address challenges proactively, maintaining team harmony and driving performance. By embodying these qualities, you not only ensure the successful execution of company priorities but also empower your teams to achieve excellence.
- Delivering results : As an Engineering Manager, you will coordinate team activities to ensure the high-quality delivery of technical projects while taking accountability for your team's efficiency and product commitments. Your deep technical and product expertise will help the team understand user problems and propose the best solutions. You'll make key decisions to facilitate collaboration, maintain focus on delivering user value, and ensure effective prioritization of tasks. Additionally, you'll actively remove obstacles, optimize team workflows, and ensure meetings are purposeful and aligned with objectives.
- Growth team & people : As an Engineering Manager, your mission is to build happy, collaborative teams by coaching individuals to achieve their career goals and become the best developers they can be. You will foster a culture of feedback, build trust, understand strengths and areas for growth, and align on goals to help team members perform at their best. You are also responsible for continuous improvement and creating an environment where the team thrives. Success includes mentoring programs, career development plans, and organizing team-building events such as hackathons or exploration days.
